One of the best to come out of Rhode Island... recent MBA grad, Gabi Shilling. Gabi recently completed her 6th season at URI and has proven to be a natural-born leader during her time, earning commendable respect from her teammates, coaches, and the URI athletic department.
Gabi's remarkable growth, particularly in her last two seasons as a middle hitter in the Atlantic 10 Conference, is commendable. She is a reliable attacker, showcasing equal effectiveness in executing both 0-tempo and 2nd-tempo sets—a testament to her early days as a pin hitter in her collegiate career.
Gabi is a self-starter who knows what she wants to accomplish, however, is adaptable enough to make the most out of her situation and environment. This applies directly to her desire to compete professionally.
