Α true champion joining the champions of Cyprus, Apollon Limassol Volleyball Club!

#apollonvolleyballclub pulled a steal of a gem right in the nick of time at the outset of this season, signing Efro Alexakou, fresh off graduation from St. John's University in NYC and after her first foray in pro volleyball with the Swedish champions #hyltehalmstadvolley. 

After an epic career, with All-American and Conference Player of the Year awards, an epic Big East title, which no one will ever forget, and more swings and kills than one can adequately capture, Efro is continuing her pro volley journey... in fine fashion, in Cyprus and the sweetest spot for a true volley pro. The team that nurtures and respects volleyball with the support and infrastructure necessary to thrive and become the best one can be in sport and in life. Warmest regards and genuine gratitude to Head Coach Yianni Yiapani, Floui, Apollon's President and Board for a tremendous effort and rising above all challenges at hectic times this October. Efro, her parents, and our entire Nomos family is truly thankful for all you do for volleyball and these motivated young professionals. 

Efro, NYC's beloved Greek Beastie, onward to take on Cyprus! A brave warrior, who would find a way to WILL her teams to WIN! No matter the pain, the struggle, and the force required, Efro's effort was always inspiring, and anyone with a pulse in the gyms she competed knew she was in it to win it. Now, time to play, time to compete with some of the best pro players around, time to embark on another journey, and live the life of a true pro.
