Congrats to Lida Kastanou for her long-awaited return home, to Aigaleo V.C. 

Double congrats on Lida's graduation from Bradley University, and turning a new leaf in her professional life.

It's been a blessing to be by her side as her team and family in the US, through ups and downs, thick and thin. We remember the lefty rocket arm doing wonders for Aigaleo after her move from Volos to Athens and battling through injury at Panathinaikos. Lida persevered, rose above, and despite all obstacles made it to the highest ranked Pac12 team a Greek player had made it at that time, landing at Washington State.

More tough times in Pullman, Washington; but Lida kept a positive attitude, and later landed in a championship caliber team in the Missouri Valley Conference, the prestigious Bradley University, in Peoria, IL. Sprinting through her last few classes this past year, working full-time with Bradley Athletics, and preparing for her new life, Lida showed that life is not so much what happens to you, but how you respond... And this tall, strong, tough as nails young lady, now earned the right to return home, and help Aigaleo in the team's new journey in a very competitive VolleyLeague.

We are SO proud of you Lida. Keep making a difference, and showing the way for other young girls to follow. Enjoy playing @ HOME!
